Anthony Poon attained his physiotherapy qualification at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University where he had also received awards such as outstanding staff in a public hospital and preferred graduate. At the same University, he completed his Master degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy, which has further enhanced his assessment and manual skills. 
 
Gaining extensive clinical experience by working in a variety of settings including public and private hospitals, out-patient clinic and special rehabilitation school. Anthony takes a hands-on approach to rehabilitation and specializes in using different manual skills. He incorporates acupuncture, conventional physiotherapy modalities, cupping and exercises to alleviate the pain and disability of his patients.  
 
Anthony has been using acupuncture in his daily practice. He received his diploma in acupuncture & moxibustion from the University of Hong Kong SPACE. His specializes in treating neck and back pain, dizziness, cervicogenic headache, TMJ, TFCC wrist pain, facial palsy and patients who have recovered from a stroke. 
 
Apart from seeing patients at the clinic, Anthony is also available for house call physiotherapy. Some medical conditions need long-term therapy such as post-stroke, post-operation, sputum retention problems and musculoskeletal injuries which can leave the patient immobilized. For instance, patients with acute slipped disc can inhibit them from any movement hence home visits play an important role in helping the patients’ recovery journey. 
 
According to Anthony, a lot of musculoskeletal pain is from bad posture and that injuries lead to muscle imbalance and joint dysfunction. Therefore therapy must be targeted at both soft tissues and joints alignment. Exercises and postural education are incorporated to extend the effectiveness of therapy and minimize recurrence.
