Dr. Cheung is one of our visiting Clinical Psychologist and often sees patients experiencing depression and anxiety, issues of death and bereavement, and other mental health cases in both adults and children. He also has expertise in conducting neuropsychological assessment and forensic evaluation. He is also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Focusing Therapy (Person-Cantered Therapy), and Satir Model Family Therapy.

Dr. Cheung was the President of the Hong Kong Psychological Society for many years and also took on the role of Chair of the Division of Clinical Psychology, Hong Kong Psychological Society for a few years.

He is an experienced psychologist having worked as a clinical psychologist in the Hospital Authority as well as Research Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong. He still maintains his position as an Honorary Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong.
​Dr Cheung speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese and is offering teleconsultations during the COVID 19 outbreak to adults and teenagers.
